    Choose from our selection of dynamic and motivational workshops designed to educate your employees on many different aspects of healthy living. Workshops can range from being fully hands-on to more theory based.

    1. Posture and Flexibility for a Healthy Back

    An interactive workshop in which participants will learn how to assess if they have flexibility, strength or postural issues that may contribute to back pain. Once they identify potential issues, they will learn specific exercise solutions to improve their back health

    1. Core Stability on the Ball

    A great combo workshop with our "Posture and Flexibility for a Healthy Back" Workshop. Learn how to improve your Core, upper and lower body strength using a Fitness Ball. Using the ball is a fun but challenging fitness tool for the fitness novice or elite athlete.

     

    1. Team-Work - The "Core" of a Company

    Employees are taken through a series of initiative challenges which require full team cooperation to achieve success. Using the analogy that the "Core" of a thriving company is teamwork, employees challenge their own core, balance, creativity and communication skills.

    1. Heart Healthy - An Introduction to Cardiovascular Fitness

    Employees will learn the basics of cardiovascular fitness such as what to do, how often, how long and how hard to push. We will take a practical approach in teaching employees how to monitor their exercise intensity. Also touched on in this workshop will be the fundamentals of heart healthy eating.

     

    1. Stress Management- The Chill-out Challenge

    Do you have a stressed out workplace? This workshop gives employees the tools to recognize the difference between good and bad stress and suggests strategies to keep stress at a healthy level despite the hectic pace of the world we live in.

    1. Stretching/Relaxation Workshop

    Employees are taken through a series of non-intimidating "tests" to help the individual identify what muscles of their body are sufficiently tight to contribute to future discomfort or health issues. Employees are then led through a series of stretches, with the goal of empowering each employee with the knowledge of how to design their own individual stretching program. The session is concluded with 10 minute relaxation exercise that employees can repeat and use as their own stress management tool.  

     

    1. Fitness Basics- Everything You always wanted to know about Fitness, but were afraid to ask.

    This workshop will be employee directed, giving employees the opportunity to ask ANY questions they have about fitness and nutrition related topics. By the end of the workshop Employees will have learned; the benefits of exercise, what the key elements every comprehensive fitness program must include, Diet and Nutrition secrets, truths and lies as well as much more.

     

    1. Weight-Loss - The On-going Battle

    Where to start, what to do? If you're serious about losing weight, this presentation is for you. We will discuss tactics on how to win the battle of the bulge. Use these simple tips to cut out, and burn more calories throughout the day.

    6 week Corporate Fitness Challenge

    If your company is serious about getting healthier, happier, and more productive, consider partnering up with the Performance Institute to create your own Company- unique 6-week Corporate Fitness Challenge. As a part of the Challenge, employees track their fitness activities in a Fitness Log and engage in friendly competition in teams and/or as individuals to complete the greatest number of "Fitness Units" over the 6 Week Challenge.

     

    The Six Week Fitness Challenge can include any of the following elements, as well as others suggested by your team.

     

    • Confidential Employee Needs Questionnaire to determine the and current health practices and needs of your employees - helps to design the exact nature of the Fitness Challenge
    • Pre and Post Fitness Challenge Health and Fitness Assessment for Each Employee
    • Kick off Motivational/educational Workshop
    • Specially designed Fitness Log specific to your company values and mission, to be used by employees in conjunction with your Corporate Fitness Challenge
    • Motivational/Educational Workshops to maintain Employee enthusiasm/focus towards on-going positive health changes (Workshop topics can be determined by Needs Questionnaire or selection of one of our existing workshops)
    • Tie in to Charity event or Corporate Family/Community Event
